This privacy policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user. What data we collect When you use Review the T&Cs, the following information is processed:

The URL of the terms and conditions page you right-click on The text content of that page, which is fetched and sent to our backend server for analysis Your Australian postcode, if you choose to enter it to look up your local MP

We do not collect your name, email address, browsing history, or any other personal information. How your data is used

The URL and page text are sent to our secure backend server, which uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate a plain-English risk summary. This data is not stored after the analysis is complete. Your postcode is used solely to identify your federal electorate and MP via the OpenAustralia API. It is not stored or logged.

Anthropic Claude API — for AI-powered analysis of terms and conditions text. Anthropic’s privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy. OpenAustralia API — for MP lookup by postcode. OpenAustralia’s privacy policy is available at openaustralia.org.au.

Data storage We do not store, sell, or share any user data. All processing is ephemeral — data is passed through our server to the relevant API and discarded immediately after a response is returned. Children’s privacy This extension is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Changes to this policy We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
